Join a dedicated team of Emergency Medicine physicians at Cowichan District Hospital. This permanent full-time or part time role involves ED shifts and support in our Rapid Access and Diagnostic Virtual Unit.

We’re seeking motivated Emergency Medicine physicians with CCFP-EM or FRCP certification for diverse shifts. You will engage in a community-focused medical environment, supporting around 125 visits daily. Additionally, you will contribute to teaching opportunities with medical students and residents in collaboration with the University of British Columbia’s Island Medical Program.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage regular Emergency Department shifts
• Support the Rapid Access and Diagnostic Virtual Unit




• Engage in patient care and education

Requirements:
• Certification in Emergency Medicine (CCFP-EM or FRCP)
