Emergency Veterinarian – Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency
Salary: $160,000–$220,000 based on experience

Burrard Animal Hospital + Emergency is seeking a compassionate and experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our talented team in the heart of Vancouver. Located at the southeast corner of West Broadway and Burrard Street, our hospital offers the perfect blend of professional opportunity and vibrant city living, with trendy cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, and easy access to transit all within walking distance.

What You’ll Do

Provide high-quality emergency and urgent veterinary care

Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of emergency medical and surgical cases

Collaborate closely with veterinarians, RVTs, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients during emergency situations

Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team‑oriented culture

Participate in case discussions and ongoing professional development

What You Bring

DVM degree (or equivalent) and eligibility for licensure in British Columbia

Emergency experience is considered an asset, but we welcome veterinarians with a strong interest in emergency medicine
