As a Health Care Aide, you'll work under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, applying your skills to deliver basic care and support. Your role involves assisting residents with daily activities, including bathing, feeding, and participating in social functions. Key Responsibilities:
• Bathe and wash residents while controlling water temperatures
• Assist with resident transfers using protected equipment




• Support residents during meal times with feeding assistance
• Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
• Accompany residents to activities and social events

Requirements:
• One year experience in continuing care preferred
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• Completed recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Active registration with Health Care Aides of Alberta
• Post-secondary education an asset
