Join GrizzlyTrek as a CNC Lathe Machinist in Edmonton, Alberta. Work full-time, Monday to Friday, focusing on oilfield tubular threading and expert machining skills.
In this permanent position at a modern machine shop, you’ll need at least three years of CNC lathe experience, contributing to the production of oilfield tubular connections. Your expertise in setting up, operating CNC lathes, and interpreting drawings will be key. Ideal candidates will demonstrate solid fundamentals in CNC machining, with a preference for experience on Fanuc, Haas, or similar controls.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC lathes for oilfield connections
• Select appropriate cutting tools and threading tooling
• Plan efficient machining sequences for each project
• Interpret blueprints and connection specifications accurately
• Adjust G-code and M-code at the control machine
Requirements:
• Minimum three years CNC lathe machining experience
• Proficient in setups, tooling, and offset adjustments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively
• Experience editing programs in G-code and M-code
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality output
