Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project documents
• Analyze quotations and pricing from contractors and suppliers
• Liaise with architects and engineers on design revisions
• Conduct site visits for project monitoring and expense assessment
• Mentor junior staff on technical aspects of surveying
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 5 years in quantity surveying or cost consulting
• Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation required
• Strong knowledge of construction specifications and drawings
• Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence for site travel
