As a Journeyman Parts Technician, you will oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory for our maintenance needs. This role requires strong multi-tasking abilities in a dynamic work environment. You will manage staff in Shipping and Receiving and ensure adherence to safety standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Quote, purchase, and distribute parts based on operational needs
• Monitor inventory levels and manage shop costs
• Negotiate with vendors for the best pricing
• Organize parts room and maintain inventory systems
• Promote a safe work workplace through effective procedures

Requirements:
• Journeyman status as a parts technician preferred
• 3-5 years experience in transportation sector
• Previous supervisory experience an asset
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
