This .40 Continuing Specialist Position begins on September 25, 2026. You will utilize your special training or experience in English Language Learning and support students in various subjects while creating a positive learning workplace. Collaboration with the district principal ensures tailored assignments to fit community needs and learning objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain engaging classroom learning environments
• Assist students across multiple curriculum areas
• Create and implement Annual Instructional Plans
• Facilitate inclusive instruction for diverse learners
• Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education (Elementary) and valid BC teaching certificate
• Experience in ELL/ESD at K-12 level
• Ability to work from an inclusion perspective
• Two years of relevant teaching experience preferred
• Knowledge of competency-based assessment strategies
