Make a vital impact as a part time Case Worker with The Salvation Army, supporting individuals facing homelessness. This role provides case management, referral counseling, and collaboration with community resources.

Under the supervision of the Program Manager, you'll work 16 hours per week, tackling challenges faced by those in need. Your responsibilities include managing a caseload, conducting assessments, and engaging with clients in a supportive manner. Flexibility in scheduling will be required for this role with shifts primarily from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage a personal caseload
• Conduct intake assessments for residents
• Provide referral counseling to clients at the shelter




• Build networks and referrals to community resources
• Document activities accurately in communication logs

Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services or related experience
• Knowledge of community-based resources
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to support socially disadvantaged individuals
• Capacity to lift up to forty pounds
