Duties
Review and verify freight invoices to ensure accuracy against shipping documentation and contractual terms
Conduct internal audits of freight transactions to identify discrepancies, errors, or potential fraud
Collaborate with logistics teams to resolve billing issues and implement process improvements
Analyze freight cost data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for cost savings
Maintain detailed records of audit findings, adjustments,



and resolutions in accounting software systems
Assist in risk management by evaluating compliance with internal policies and external regulations
Support the development of reports on freight expenses and audit outcomes for management review

Skills
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex freight data and financial reports
Experience in auditing within a logistics or transportation environment
Proficiency in accounting software and freight management systems
Knowledge of risk management principles related to freight billing and transportation operations
Background in financial services or accounting enhances understanding of financial controls and compliance
Excellent attention to detail combined with robust organizational skills
Ability to perform internal audits effectively while maintaining confidentiality and integrity

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
