Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office setting. The position is paid and requires a licensed Dental Hygienist with robust communication skills and a focus on patient comfort.

Duties
Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent oral diseases
Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments efficiently
Ensure the sterilization of dental instruments and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care,



including orthodontic support if applicable
Stay current with industry best practices, including updates in medical terminology and dental procedures

Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is advantageous
Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations
Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
second language skill a must (Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean)
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
Please note successful candidate must be able to speak Mandarin.

Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
