This full time, permanent role in the Legislative and Court Services Department entails coordinating enforcement and licensing activities. As a Senior Municipal Law Enforcement Officer, you will ensure municipal by-law compliance, handle the review of amendments, and perform leadership tasks during supervisory absences. Applicants should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proficient time management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee enforcement and licensing operations
• Enforce local by-laws including pet control and business licensing




• Review and recommend amendments to municipal by-laws
• Perform duties of Municipal Law Enforcement Officer I as needed
• Assume supervisory responsibilities during the Supervisor’s absence

Requirements:
• Two years College Diploma in Law Enforcement or related field
• Minimum three years enforcement-related experience
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License
• MLEO Certification and membership in MLEOA
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
