As a Child and Youth Development Specialist (CYDS) with Recovery Alberta, you will assess and treat children at risk in community, educational, and hospital environments. Using a family-centered approach, you’ll craft and modify service plans tailored to each child's needs while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. This role includes observing developmental challenges and educating parents and professionals about youth development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and update family service plans for children/youth
• Offer assessments and treatment recommendations




• Educate and support families in development issues
• Liaise with external agencies for additional resources
• Maintain resources for child/adolescent programs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Child & Youth Care or related field
• Experience working with children and youth
• Robust communication and observation skills
• Familiarity with family-centered practices
• Driver's license and vehicle provided
