Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Permanent Full-Time) Exciting Job Opportunity with North Coast Community Services
Salary: $46.73-56.03/hour
Benefits: This is a unionized position with salary and benefits subject to the requirements of the BC Government Employees Union ’s Collective Agreement.
Union Grid: 16-P-OT (BCGEU-CSSEA)
Hours: 35 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 7 hours/day, flexibility to meet client needs)
This is a full time position; however, part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Start Date: Fall 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter

About the Role As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist works with children and youth experiencing physical disabilities and/or motor delays.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will:
Assess, develop, implement,



and evaluate individualized intervention plans
Support children and youth in achieving developmental milestones
Address functional, motor, and sensory challenges
Recommend and support the use of assistive technologies and adaptive strategies
Promote success in self-care, play, school, and community participation
Collaborate with families, caregivers, schools, and community partners
Deliver services using culturally inclusive and trauma-informed approaches
Support regional service delivery, including virtual care options
Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist who is excited to begin or continue building their career supporting children, youth, and families.

Qualifications Degree from an entry-to-practice Occupational Therapy program
Registration (or eligibility) with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
Pediatric experience is preferred
Experience supervising a Rehabilitation or Therapy Assistant is an asset
Additional Requirements Clear Criminal Record Review
Ability to use standard office and communication technologies
Physical capacity to meet job requirements
Class 5 driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and access to a reliable vehicle
