Role Description The Sales Trainer is a contract, in office role based in Saskatoon, SK, responsible for developing and delivering sales training programs to plumbing service technicians and office staff. Day-to-day tasks include assessing current sales practices, designing training materials and sessions, and conducting workshops that focus on customer service, upselling, and value-based selling aligned with Mr. Rooter’s code of values. The Sales Trainer will observe sales interactions, provide coaching and feedback, and track performance improvements to ensure consistent,



high-quality customer experiences. This role also collaborates closely with management to refine training content, support onboarding of new team members, and reinforce best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong presentation skills and the ability to facilitate engaging in-person training sessions.
Experience designing and delivering sales trainings focused on service-based or home services industries.
Background in training & development, including curriculum design, coaching, and performance evaluation.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport.
Understanding of consultative and value-based selling techniques; prior sales or sales leadership experience is an asset.
Ability to work on-site in Saskatoon, SK, with flexibility for varying schedules to support 24/7 operations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in planning, documenting, and reporting training activities.
Post-secondary education in Business, Education, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
Familiarity with plumbing or home services industries is beneficial but not required.
