As an Estimator at KLS Earthworks, you will report to the Senior Estimator and focus on earthworks and utility projects. Candidates should have 3-5 years of estimating experience in civil construction, particularly in underground utilities. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in construction methods, costs, and production rates are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed estimates for underground utility and earthworks projects
• Review specifications, contracts, and project requirements thoroughly
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop pricing for labor,



materials, and subcontractors
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process
• Assist in job cost reviews to enhance estimating accuracy

Requirements:
• 3–5 years estimating experience in civil construction
• Minimum 2 years in underground utility construction
• Robust analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines
