Become a Public Health Nurse at the Windsor Essex County Health Unit, supporting community health through immunizations and education. This full time, hybrid role focuses on promoting health and equity in diverse populations.

The Public Health Nurse will leverage evidence-informed approaches to enhance health outcomes for individuals and communities in Windsor Essex. This position requires a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing and current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, developing community partnerships and delivering client-centered care to fulfill the organization's mandate and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health assessments of individuals and communities




• Provide education and therapeutic interventions to promote wellness
• Develop and evaluate public health programs and policies
• Investigate and support disease prevention initiatives
• Document assessments accurately for program accountability

Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Proficient in English and French
• CPR/PAD certification required
• Experience in Public Health is preferred
