This role on the Canada Tax Content team is designed for recent graduates or those with minimal experience. Key Responsibilities:
• Research lower-complexity tax issues and escalate complex ones
• Translate small tasks into functional tax logic using C#/C++/Java
• Participate in compliance discussions to understand technical tasks
• Write reusable code and validate functionality through testing
• Use AI tools for code generation and debugging assistance
Requirements:
• BS/MS in Computer Science or Tax/Equivalent experience
• 1-2 years in software development with C#/C++ or Java
• Exposure to tax research or analysis preferred
• Willingness to learn and apply unit testing practices
• Solid communication skills and Agile experience is a plus
