The Saskatchewan Research Council is looking for a Research Technologist to become an essential part of the REE Commercial team. This role involves laboratory and pilot-scale testing and supports the execution of projects in REE processing. Candidates will work closely with engineers and scientists, contributing to process development and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory and pilot-scale testing for REE process development
• Support hydrometallurgy and solvent extraction projects
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment effectively
• Collect and organize data for technical analysis
• Assist with test planning and troubleshooting processes
Requirements:
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering Technology or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in chemical processing or pilot plant operations
• Familiarity with chemical handling and data documentation
• Solid commitment to safety and accuracy
• Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting lab equipment
