This full-time position focuses on developing recreation programs, entertainment, and daily activities for seniors, Elders, and individuals with disabilities at Jesken Aerie. The Recreation Coordinator will manage volunteer recruitment and training, promoting a supportive atmosphere and ensuring compliance with regulations. Working hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement energetic recreation programs for residents
• Manage volunteer recruitment and training
• Create promotional materials for activities




• Maintain documentation and reporting requirements
• Enhance resident engagement and well-being

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in recreation coordination
• Minimum 2 years' experience with seniors or disabilities
• Experience in volunteer management
• Knowledge of Indigenous community practices is beneficial
• Valid Class 4 Driver’s License and First Aid certification
