Parkland County is seeking a temporary, full time Communications Advisor from October 2026 to April 2027. This role requires collaborating with Council and staff to develop and implement effective communications strategies. You'll manage digital channels, assist in content creation, engagement, and issue management to enhance community outreach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement service-focused communications plans
• Manage the County’s digital channels and social media
• Assist in public engagement and media relations
• Create content for the website and intranet




• Handle issues management with effective communication strategies

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Communications or related field
• Minimum two years in corporate communications
• Familiarity with the Protection of Privacy Act and Access to Information Act
• Experience using content management systems
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
