Position Summary
Klenzal Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable and hardworking Property Maintenance & Grounds Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas and underground parking facilities at a Klenzal customer property in Kitchener, near Conestoga College.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that involves walking, bending, lifting, sweeping, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Applicants must be physically fit and comfortable staying active throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Sweep and spot-clean exterior walkways, entrances, and common outdoor areas
Pick up litter, garbage, and debris throughout the property
Maintain the cleanliness of underground parking areas
Collect loose garbage and debris throughout the parking garage
Check and maintain garbage and waste-receptacle areas
Keep entrances and assigned exterior areas clean and presentable
Report spills,
property damage, safety hazards, or unusual conditions
Perform other light property-cleaning and maintenance duties as required
Requirements
Must be physically fit and capable of performing a physically demanding job
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently start at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Able to walk, bend, lift, carry, sweep, and remain physically active throughout the shift
Able to work independently and manage assigned duties without constant supervision
Solid attention to detail
Dependable transportation to the Kitchener work location
