Duties
Operate snow plows, salt spreaders, and other heavy equipment efficiently to clear snow and ice from roads, parking lots, and walkways
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Coordinate with maintenance teams for vehicle repairs or automotive repairs needed for heavy equipment
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents during snow removal operations
Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklift or other heavy machinery when necessary
Monitor weather conditions continuously to plan effective snow removal strategies
Maintain detailed logs of work completed,



including areas cleared and materials used

Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a focus on heavy equipment operation
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license preferred but not required
Certification in forklift operation and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable
Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly
Ability to operate salt spreaders, plow trucks, and other specialized machinery safely and effectively
Strong understanding of freight handling procedures when coordinating material loads or unloads
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report operational status

Pay: $17.60-$30.00 per hour
