Job Description

We are currently hiring reliable and hardworking General Labourers for a spice manufacturing facility in Oakville, Ontario.

There are opportunities available in Packaging and Staging. Candidates should be dependable, punctual, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and able to follow workplace and safety instructions.

Important: This is a spice manufacturing facility, and there are strong spice aromas throughout the plant. Candidates must be comfortable working in this environment.

Available PositionsGeneral Labour – Packaging

Responsibilities may include:
Packaging and preparing products
Labeling, sealing, and organizing finished products
Assisting with production duties
Lifting and moving materials
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Following food safety and workplace safety procedures

Requirements:
Must be able to speak and understand English
Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 lbs
Comfortable performing repetitive physical work
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
Comfortable working around strong spice aromas

General Labour – Staging Clerk





Responsibilities may include:
Staging and preparing materials for production
Organizing products and materials
Entering or reviewing information using a computer
Assisting with inventory and general warehouse duties
Maintaining accurate and organized work areas
Following food safety and workplace safety procedures

Requirements:
Must be comfortable using computers
Able to learn new tasks and processes quickly
Valuable attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working around strong spice aromas

Schedule

Monday to Friday
6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Overtime or Saturday work may be available or required depending on production needs.

Additional Requirements
Reliable transportation to and from the Oakville facility
Safety shoes are required
Must be dependable and committed to regular attendance
Must be comfortable working in a quick-paced manufacturing environment
Must be comfortable with strong spice smells throughout the facility

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
