Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Carpet Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial carpeting and flooring solutions across various business environments. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Responsibilities
Measure and prepare work areas by reading blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation.
Install commercial carpets, tiles, and flooring materials using hand tools and power tools with accuracy and efficiency.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions to determine the best installation methods.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, caulking, and making necessary repairs to ensure a smooth foundation for flooring.
Use carpentry skills to cut, shape,



and fit flooring materials as needed for complex or custom installations.
Apply caulking or sealants around edges or seams to prevent moisture infiltration and ensure a qualified finish.
Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance.

Required Qualifications
Previous commercial carpet installation experience
Valid WHMIS certification
Valid CSTS 2020
Valid First Aid certification
Valid driver’s licence
Must carry appropriate insurance
Own tools and reliable transportation
Robust attention to detail
Reliable and able to meet project deadlines

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
