S2S is seeking a motivated Project Scientist to enhance our environmental Assessment and Remediation team. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal qualities, technical skills, and fieldwork experience, particularly with Phase I and II ESAs. Your responsibilities will range from conducting site assessments to managing contractors, while adhering to Ontario's environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Phase I/II ESA site assessments and inspections
• Collect and prepare environmental samples from various sites
• Coordinate with clients and contractors during investigations
• Review historic site information with Project Managers
• Prepare technical reports and documentation based on analysis
Requirements:
• University degree or college diploma in Environmental Science
• 0-2 years of relevant field experience
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and guidelines
• Solid communication and report writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and GIS tools
