Kootenay-Columbia School District No. 20 is seeking a 0.2 FTE Indigenous Support Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support classroom educators in incorporating Indigenous perspectives, implement programs addressing academic and emotional needs, and connect effectively with families. Collaboration with a diverse teaching team is essential to ensure enriching educational experiences for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support embedding Indigenous knowledge in classroom curriculum
• Implement programs for academic and personal support
• Connect with families for effective school communication
• Utilize various teaching and assessment strategies

Requirements:
• BC Certification required
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent necessary
• Experience with learning management systems
