Reporting to the Director of Care, you will collaborate with nursing staff to deliver exemplary person-centered care. This role encompasses helping residents with daily activities and maintaining a clean and supportive environment. Ideal candidates will exhibit robust teamwork skills and a commitment to improving residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Monitor resident health and document observations accurately
• Participate in recreational activities to enhance resident engagement




• Support residents during dining and mobility transitions
• Report maintenance issues and ensure a safe environment
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide program completion required
• Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Current CPR and First Aid certification needed
• Ability to handle difficult situations with respect
• Experience in mental health environments is an asset
