Industrial Mill Operator - Rubber Manufacturing

Transport: Personal reliable vehicle required (Not accessible by public transit during shift hours)

Step into a core production role with a leading rubber manufacturing facility located in Elora, just outside the Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph area. We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mill Operator to drive raw material preparation and maintain steady line output.

Responsibilities

- Primary Processing: Operate industrial mills to heat, roll, and refine raw rubber compounds to strict technical specs.
- Production Supply: Feed processed rubber directly into calender systems to maintain seamless, continuous production flow.
- Recipe Blending:



Mix and blend raw material ingredients accurately according to precise job sheets and work orders.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor material consistency and conduct visual checks to keep finished batches completely free of foreign debris or defects.
- Documentation & Logistics: Weigh processed rubber containers using industrial scales, record data in quality logs, attach inventory tags, and complete daily pre-start safety inspections.

Qualifications

- Work Experience: Background in operating heavy processing equipment, calenders, or industrial machinery. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and general factory experience are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Capability: Comfortable working a full 12-hour active standing shift with regular lifting, bending, and handling of heavy rubber materials.
- Skills & Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) and robust English communication skills for reading work instructions and completing production logs.
- Asset: Overhead Crane Certification is a plus (onsite certification training available).
