As a Senior Accountant at Fraser Valley Child Development Centre, you will provide vital oversight for accounting functions, financial reporting, compliance, and payroll systems. Collaborate closely with the Interim Central Finance & Operations Officer and organizational leaders to ensure exact financial oversight and reporting processes while adhering to funding regulations. Your expertise will directly contribute to fostering a healthy and thriving community for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop annual budgets and financial plans




• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Ensure timely reporting under government funding agreements
• Coordinate annual audit and prepare working papers
• Maintain internal financial policies and controls

Requirements:
• CPA designation in good standing
• Minimum five years of accounting experience
• Degree in accounting or equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in accounting software
• Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards for non-profits
