Lead YESS's Safety and Stabilization Services in Edmonton, Alberta, as a full time manager. Oversee operations, staff, and ensure high-quality support for youth in crisis at our shelter.
In this critical role, you’ll provide leadership and operational management of YESS’s Safety and Stabilization programs. Your responsibilities include direct supervision, coaching of staff, and crisis response oversight to ensure safe, consistent services. With a commitment to a high-performance, trauma-informed team environment, you will be pivotal in supporting youth experiencing homelessness and related challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, coach, and manage Team Leads and frontline staff
• Develop staff schedules for 24/7 operational coverage
• Oversee daily service operations,
including crisis response
• Ensure compliance with policies and documentation standards
• Lead staff training and development initiatives
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Work or related field
• 2–5+ years of leadership experience in youth services
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
• Valid First Aid Certificate and clear background checks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
