Lead a dedicated team at the Nunavut Women's Correctional Centre as a Women and Youth Correctional Supervisor in Iqaluit. Focus on client rehabilitation while ensuring security in a custodial workplace.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Warden of Operations, you will supervise Women and Youth Correctional Caseworkers during shifts. This challenging role emphasizes rehabilitation and reintegration, overseeing caseworker operations, monitoring client behavior, and ensuring adherence to security protocols. You'll also mentor staff, deliver programs, and support client case management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise correctional caseworker operations across NWCC and YO
• Ensure maintenance of security procedures and protocols
• Monitor client behavior and intervene as necessary




• Oversee transport and escort of clients for appointments
• Train and support new correctional caseworkers

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of related experience, with one year supervisory
• Completion of Government of Nunavut's CQTP or equivalent
• Experience in custodial or support service environments
• Knowledge of Inuit culture and communities is an asset
