Spectrum Control is seeking an experienced Buyer to manage purchasing of raw materials and MRO items. This role focuses on inventory control, cost management, and supplier negotiations, based in a manufacturing environment.

The Buyer will be responsible for expediting material orders and processing requisitions to meet shipment and quality targets. This essential position requires you to maintain accurate procurement records and monitor the supply chain effectively. You will also engage with vendors to gather crucial product information and evaluate procurement options under management guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process Material Requisition Planning (MRP) messages
• Maintain procurement records and inventory data




• Expedite orders and manage supplier information
• Evaluate sources of supply based on key considerations
• Develop responses to quality issues and compliance requests

Requirements:
• Associate degree or relevant experience
• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings
• Robust understanding of MRP and purchasing methods
