Cole Harbour Family Medicine isseeking a Family Physician to provide Long-term Locum coverage 20 hours a week from February 8th, 2027- February 8th, 2028

Responsibilities

• delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
• work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
• utilize an electronic medical record (EMR)
  
  
  
  and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members

Remuneration

• guaranteed daily minimum income of $1,200 for family physicians ($600 or half-day)
• additional shadow billings if above amount is exceeded.
• accommodations up to $300 per night
• travel expenses (including air fare up to $1,500)

Cole Harbour Family Medicine is Located in the Baker Drive area of Dartmouth. There are 9 family doctors on site, as well as a family practice nurse and two general surgeons. Providers work together to cross cover vacation times, etc. Same day urgent appointments are available for patients of the clinic, and physicians take turns in an evening duty clinic.The panel of patients is 650, ranging from pre-natal to newborn to geriatrics.
