Dishwasher / Prep Cook

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our restaurant team. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen while assisting with basic food preparation.

Responsibilities
Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher safely.
Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Complete basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and storing ingredients.
Prepare sauces, vegetables, and other menu ingredients according to restaurant recipes.
Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-storage procedures.
Sweep and mop floors and remove garbage, recycling, and food waste.
Clean kitchen equipment, workstations, walls, and storage areas.
Receive and organize food and supply deliveries when required.
Support cooks and other team members during busy periods.
Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
Perform other reasonable kitchen duties as directed by management.





Qualifications
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation is an asset.
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
Food Handler Certification is considered an asset.
