In this role, Suncor is looking for a Mechanical Planner with 5+ years of experience in maintenance and scheduling, preferably within the oil and gas sector. You will be responsible for preparing detailed job plans, ensuring compliance with operational safety standards, and collaborating across teams to enhance productivity.
Your role will heavily focus on continuous improvement and team-oriented decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and implement continuous improvement plans
Develop job plans with detailed parts and cost information
Maintain compliance with health and safety standards
Update and improve project schedules based on data
Foster collaboration with SCM and other departments
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of planning experience
Mechanical Journeyman certification is a plus
Skilled in Microsoft Office and SAP
Knowledge of maintenance practices and concepts
Effective communicator with solid relationship-building skills
