occupiers’ liability cases;
construction claims;
professional negligence claims;
Provide support and legal opinions to Claims;




Handle all aspects of litigation from the filing of pleadings, to attending at examinations for discovery, arguing motions, attending settlement conferences/mediations and running trials.Qualifications- Called to the bar in the province of Nova Scotia;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a litigation role.What You’ll Bring- Professionalism, solid work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills;
Experience as litigation counsel together with insurance law;
Proven capability to handle complex litigation through to trial or arbitration;
Solid technical claims knowledge;
Deep understanding of current insurance law issues;
