As an RPN, you will report to the Health and Wellness Manager and focus on daily assessments and resident care. Your role includes supervision of team members, monitoring health changes, and engaging with residents to uphold our values of kindness and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide and assess the care provided by PSWs
Oversee the administration of medications to residents
Develop and adjust individualized care plans
Conduct health checks and report findings
Liaise with family members and external agencies
Requirements:
Registered Practical Nurse certification in Ontario
Preferred experience in retirement or long-term care
Solid communication and leadership abilities
Capability to assist in lifting and transferring residents
Recent vulnerable sector screening needed
