About the Role Our client, a dynamic construction company operating in the Kimberley region, is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Site Engineer . This is a crucial on-site role focused on managing and overseeing construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and logistical aspects of construction projects, coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and the project management team. This role requires solid leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced site environment, ensuring the successful execution of infrastructure and building projects in the Northern Cape .
Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient project progress.
Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.




Conduct quality control checks and ensure that work is performed to the required standards.
Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress charts, and material usage logs.
Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr. Eng. or Techni Eng. is advantageous.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a site engineering or construction supervision role.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and site management principles.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a robust work ethic.
