Elevate your accounting career with Moneris as a Senior General Accountant. This hybrid role based in Toronto focuses on settlement and project accounting for the Finance team.

As a senior member of the Accounting team, you'll manage essential financial analysis and general accounting tasks. You will oversee month-end close activities, guide Analysts, and handle escalations in accounts payable and receivable. Your contributions will support accurate financial reporting and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Manage revenue recording and analysis, including journal preparation
• Prepare financial reports to aid business stakeholders




• Monitor and analyze P&L; and balance sheet accounts
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• CPA designation required
• Over 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with month-end closure and reporting
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred
