As an ECA , you will be responsible for working collaboratively with childcare staff and the Supervisor at various centres located in Durham region. Your role includes fostering a nurturing, safe workplace for children from infant to school age, supporting daily activities, and maintaining high standards of care and compliance.

Responsibilities

- Create a warm,



inclusive learning environment that supports child development
- Supervise children during both indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety
- Keep classrooms and shared spaces clean and organized
- Assist with meals and nap time in line with centre policies and Public Health standards
- Actively participate in play-based and learning activities with children
- Support staff and contribute to a collaborative, positive team environment
- Follow all regulations and guidelines, including CCEYA, AQI, and HDLH
- Participate in all mandatory company activities, trainings and meetings.
- Perform other duties as required

Requirements

- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police check (within 6 months)
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C
- Reliable transportation within Durham region.
