Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious pastries and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the success of our pastry department.

Duties:
Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, including cakes, cookies, pies, and breads
Decorate pastries using various techniques such as icing, glazing, and piping
Follow recipes and ensure consistency in taste and presentation
Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines during all stages of food preparation
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate pastry orders with main menu items
Package finished products for display or take-out orders
Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment regularly

Requirements:
Previous experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment




Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a rapid-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail for precise measurements and decorations
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
