Be a key player in mental health support with Oak Valley Health as a Child and Youth Counsellor. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care in a hospital setting.

As a Child and Youth Counsellor, you will work closely with Child Psychiatrists and the Child and Adolescent team, facilitating programs and treating youth with complex needs. Your role requires excellent communication, crisis intervention, and behaviour management skills to implement effective treatment plans. You'll engage with families, participate in team rounds, and model healthy living through daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate group activities and treatment planning
• Provide support in Section 23 classroom settings




• Monitor and implement SMART goals for clients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in clinical care
• Engage in physical activities and promote healthy living

Requirements:
• Child and Youth Care diploma or related degree
• Minimum 4-6 years of clinical experience
• Solid leadership and team collaboration skills
• Proficient in therapeutic program planning
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
