The Auxiliary Highway Maintenance Worker will report to the Area Foreman, ensuring the safe operation of heavy equipment for highway upkeep. You will engage in snow and ice control, roadside maintenance, and traffic control tasks, contributing to overall highway safety. Ideal candidates will be physically fit and willing to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy trucks and equipment for highway maintenance
• Perform snow and ice control on roadways




• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment
• Complete necessary documentation for road works
• Contribute to a safe working environment

Requirements:
• Valid BC Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
• 2+ years experience in highway maintenance
• Knowledge of safety regulations and Motor Vehicle Act
• Experience operating graders preferred
• Physically fit for outdoor manual labor
