The Region of Waterloo is seeking a dedicated Registered Practical Nurse for part-time shifts with varied hours. Your responsibilities will encompass resident care, including personal assistance, medication management, and safety assessments. Collaboration with Registered Nurses is essential. You must provide availability for specific shifts and weekends, ensuring continuity of care in our supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ physical and health needs weekly
• Provide personal care and meal assistance during shifts
• Administer medications including insulin and narcotics




• Participate in healthcare rounds and maintain accurate records
• Assist with resident recreational programs and social activities

Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in gerontological nursing preferred
• Knowledge of medication standards and nursing policies
• Must complete TB test and annual flu immunization
• Ability to support and enhance resident care plans
