As a Community Driver at BANAC, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with barriers to vehicle access. Your responsibilities include safely driving clients to appointments and navigating urban environments while promoting Indigenous cultural safety. You will assist clients with mobility aids and maintain vehicle safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive clients to medical and cultural appointments
• Assist clients with boarding and disembarking vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of transportation vehicles
• Record mileage, trip sheets, and daily reports accurately
• Collaborate with the team to schedule transportation needs
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s license
• Five years of skilled driving experience
• Standard First Aid and CPR certifications
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and traditions
• Physical ability to assist clients and handle equipment
