As a Child Youth Worker, you will collaborate with a diverse team to provide essential support and care to young people facing various challenges. Your responsibilities include ensuring children's rights are respected, advocating for them, and participating in their personal service plans. Empowerment and independence are at the core of this position, giving youth tools to envision and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for children's rights and choices
• Develop and document Personal Service Plans
• Foster relationships with families and professionals
• Assist with daily living activities and medication
• Maintain accurate records in case management database
Requirements:
• Grade 12 education
• Child and Youth Care Diploma with 2 years experience
• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed and Harm Reduction practices
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Effective communication skills
