The Opportunity We need a Ward Clerk to join our Medical department. As a Ward Clerk, you will play an key role in keeping the department running smoothly each day. You’ll help coordinate the flow of daily activities related to admissions, discharges, and transfer of patients. You will also help ensure the team has the supplies & equipment needed by coordinating requests with other departments.

As The Successful Applicant,



You Will Do The Following Coordinate and complete order entry with accuracy & attention to detail
Provide professional and welcoming phone reception, responding to inquiries & directing calls as appropriate
Coordinate ambulance bookings & transportation arrangements to support safe & timely patient transfers
Assemble, organize, sort and file documentation
Communicate with other members of the healthcare team and other departments to coordinate care and keep daily operations running smoothly
What You’ll Bring Required Two-year Medical Office Administration diploma or equivalent
Medical Terminology certificate
One year clerical and data entry experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Experience with Meditech Expanse
