Cook – Full Time
Location: Vermilion, Alberta
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Are you passionate about cooking and enjoy working with fresh ingredients?

Our client is looking for Cooks to join their team in Vermilion. As a Cook, you'll prepare quality meals while following established recipes, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and established guidelines

Use a variety of cooking methods and techniques

Work with fresh ingredients and maintain consistent food quality

Follow food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures

Properly store food and maintain a clean and organized kitchen

Follow production and workplace safety guidelines

Assist with other kitchen duties as required

Work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications





Previous experience as a Cook or in a related role

Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food handling, and food storage

Ability to obtain a Food Safety Certification

Basic math and counting skills

Valuable verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods

Ability to lift, bend, push, and pull as required

Willingness to wear required uniform and PPE
