Reporting to the Journeyperson Powerline Technician, the Powerline Technician Apprentice position allows you to develop skills in erecting and maintaining powerlines, troubleshooting transformers, and utilizing heavy equipment. You will play a critical role in supporting the installation and maintenance of vital energy infrastructure while learning industry-leading practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Erect and maintain steel, wood, or concrete poles
• Install and repair overhead and underground powerlines
• Work with heavy equipment like backhoes and aerial booms
• Splice,



solder, and insulate conductors for power networks
• Use electrical testing instruments to identify issues

Requirements:
• Registered apprentice or Alberta-certified journeyperson
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a good record
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Willingness to work different shifts and travel
• CSTS certification preferred and successful drug testing
