Adecco is currently hiring a Category Management Specialist in Calgary, AB, to support strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and contract administration activities across North America.

This role is ideal for professionals with experience in category management, sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier performance, RFx processes, Ariba, and SAP.

You''ll lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and oversee contracts from strategy development through post-award management.

Location: Calgary, AB Job type: Temporary |Full-time Responsibilities: Category Management & Sourcing Develop and execute category strategies.

Conduct supplier, pricing, and market analysis.

Lead RFx activities, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.

Manage supplier pre-qualification and sourcing initiatives.

Contract & Supplier Management Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle.

Support renewals, amendments, dispute resolution, and contract close-outs.

Facilitate supplier reviews and KPI meetings.

Monitor supplier performance and compliance.

Business Partnership Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Risk, HSE, QA/QC, and Finance teams.

Support commercial and sourcing decisions.

Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders.

Systems & Reporting Create and maintain RFx and contract records.

Support reporting, data analysis, and supplier performance tracking.

Utilize Ariba, SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.





Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor''s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of procurement, sourcing, or contract management experience.

Minimum 2 years of category management experience.

Strong understanding of sourcing and contract lifecycles.

Experience with supplier negotiations and commercial contracts.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

Robust analytical, communication, and organizational skills. SCMP, CSCP, CIPS, or ISM certification. SAP experience.

Ariba sourcing and contract management experience.

Experience in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments.
